I wrote about this a long time ago, and although I like the ad, I still question:

He's drinking cans labeled BITTER BEER! And it's in every ad, even the newer two. I don't know if they do it on purpose... it's really kind of nonsensical. I don't see how a Bitter Beer Face saves you from getting fired for calling your boss' daughter a freakshow.

I imagine that everything "they do" is done on purpose since there's a concept and script and it's Keystone which saves the day, not Bitter Beer.
