Barbie film marketing and licensing deal collaborations turns everything pink!

"Barbie" is coming to a theatre near you, and the relentless promotion of this film is turning pretty much everything hot pink. Including a simple pink-only OOH Billboard that only reads "July 21" in the bottom right corner, in that familiar Barbie font. So easy.

But all of the other Barbie hype stunts aren't quite as simple. For one thing, they have put up an actual Barbie dream house in Malibu, and you can even AirBnB it! The listing claims that Ken has the keys and is handling the home for her while she's away.

But the dream house, which they originally did back in 2019 as well, isn't the only thing making a big pink splash. Brands are cobranding with the Barbie film to join in the pink hype with products that will satisfy even the biggest pink-fan.

Microsoft has created a Barbie-themed Xbox Series S, the first ever Xbox Barbie dolls, and Barbie cars for Forza Horizon 5.

There are even interchangeable Xbox Wireless Controller faceplates designed after Barbie and Ken’s on-screen outfits. But the star of the show is the custom Xbox Series S built into an actual Barbie DreamHouse. This is a competition prize only that’s up for grabs from July 10.

For all the Forza Horizon 5 players out there, Microsoft has introduced two new vehicles: a classic 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV in signature Barbie pink and Ken's 2022 GMC HUMMER EV Pickup for Playground's racer. Both vehicles are available for free.

Screenings of the movie are Barbie pink branded as well, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema are offering early access screenings, complete with a special pink cocktail, and a limited edition lunchbox and thermos set, featuring custom BARBIE art - in pink, natch. There's also a Barbie brunch. "It's the most Barbie way to see the movie" they promise.

Even makeup companies have joined forced with Mattell and unleashed more pink stuff on the world. NYX Cosmetics has a Barbie-inspired series, and O.P.I. has released a Barbie pink nail polish.

All over LA, there are Barbie themed things, including bus stop benches that Barbie fans and influencers have already made their pilgrimage spots. There are so many collabs that you won't be running out of Barbie themes stuff anytime soon - from pink suitcases to pink glassware sets. You can even buy Barbies rollerskates at Impala. Barbies showed up with their own float at the DC Pride parade, skating in these.

You can live, sleep and eat Barbie stuff too! Coldstone creamery has a Barbie ice-cream called "Pink Cotton Candy". And dress your little dog in it too, as Canada Pooch has Barbie themed dog accessories.
