"Lusseballe" - Pressbyrån kiosks launch a very silly twist on the classic saffron bun, making it saffrons 'balls'

Prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in Sweden. Early detection can significantly increase the chances of recovery. To raise awareness about the importance of timely testing, Pressbyrån launched the Lusseballen campaign in all of their stores. Now, here are some Swedish classes you'll need to "get" this. A Lussekatt, which is a traditional saffron bread baked aroud´nd Chrustmas, is also called a "lussebulle". "Bulle" means a bun of any sweet or savory kind. "Balle" on the other hand, means... Balls. Yes, of course, those specific balls that are attached to males.

Thus, the Lusseballen campaign serves as a reminder to get tested in time, and to draw attention to the valuable work done by the Moustache campaign - hence these buns are released mid-November,

"We would appreciate your help in spreading this vital message! If you know a man who is over 50, encourage him to get tested for prostate cancer - a simple blood test can detect it. Additionally, you can sing the Lusseballe song to him, if you want to add some fun." aid Pressbyrån in a press release. The song is about as silly as you'd expect and airs on social media.

Melody: Lusse Lelle

Lusseballe, lusseballe
Try the baaaaalle before Christmas
Lusseballe, lusseballe
Both joyful and fun
And when you do eat the ball
We want to remind you
You who have just turned 50,
about a really important thing
Lusseballe, lusseballe
Do a Prostate test immediately
We all think so, i.e. both of us at Pressbyrån and Mustaschkamppen, sounds good!

But there's more, more innuendo and more puns, but you can also get a free prostate cancer screening test when you go to Pressbyrån to buy a "Lusseballe" - In Stockholm, during week 46, you can get tested at Pressbyrån on Klarabergsgatan 29. The test is a simple blood test in the armpit, conducted by qualified personnel from Capio, and sent to Unilabs for analysis.

Posters and in-store posters add to the silly pun collection. This wide poster says "to test yourself is not a big deal", but they say "big apparatus" which is how the idiom goes in Swedish. And we all know what a big apparatus" can also mean.

This image just tells you that if you buy the Lusseballe, you will be donation 10 SEK to the moustache campaign.
