Diane DiLascio, Queen of Commercials for 2005!!!

Another correction the last listed ad is actually for Office Depot, NOT Staples-sorry for the error.

The Mom who leaves her kid a bunch of IOU*s in her piggy bank (Wells Fargo)

Part of a couple who is bartering with an Indian women over a rug (Cost Plus)

The woman on a park bench with 2 guys, who are trying to figure out what to call a soft and crunchy Taco (Taco Bell)

The wife who competes with her husband in using the new car every morning ( I forgot the brand, but one morning she wakes up to find a dummy next to her in bed!)

The woman picking out paint (Sherman Williams)

The woman on horseback in a commercial for a perscription medicine (Forgot the name of the medicine)

The Mom taking care of her kid*s Back-To-School needs (Staples).

All of these commercial characters are played by Diane DiLascio, an actress who

seems to be best known by Sci-Fi fans for appearing in an episode of Star Trek, and a couple of low-budget Sci-Fi action films.

I*ve only seen her via commercials the past few years, until I saw her as the worried

Mom in the "Compulsion" episode of this past season*s CSI, which featured another Star Trek actor, Wil Wheaton.

But NEVER have I seen an actress appearing in commercials on such a consistently HOT roll, with all of the above mentioned ads being shown this year alone!!

Naturally, with all of these appearances, it makes one very curious about this particular actress, and what makes her stand out more to advertisers than another actress would, in that she is getting so much commercial work right now.

But there is little to no Biographical info on her online (the IMDB site has a sketchy list of credits for her). So if anyone has any additional info on her, by all means, please respond! Thanks.

On a couple of these commercials, you*re confusing Diane with another busy commercial actress. Caitlin Keats is the actress in the Taco Bell spot as well as the woman on horseback. She has done work for Nationwide Insurance, Xerox, & Cadillac; but her most impressive spots are for Olay Total Effects - most notably as the woman in black on the lie detector.

Yes, you*re right on those 2 ads-I just saw them both again and took a closer look at the actress. Thanks for the correction!
