Press information (if you want to know more about us behind Adland)

in

We have collected as many press mention that we could find in our very own scrap book press clippings here.
The people behind the site are;

Dabitch - otherwise known as Åsk Wäppling, advertising award winning art director with a heavy geek streak. Pet peeves, when my name is spelled incorrectly and being called "site mistress". I am not the sites lover, I am the webmaster (or madam if you prefer) equipped with soldering irons and blowtorches who builds the machines, codes most of the site and posts many of the rants. I built this community (and two of the servers) from scratch. I also keep a lot of secrets as I know who many of the people hiding behind nom de plumes here are in their professional lives. I'm a Swedish born globetrotter who's lived in four different countries on two different continents since this site was born. I sincerely believe that advertising (and the news about it) should be a worldwide thing, what happens on Mad Ave affects those who work in London and Bangkok, since advertising is its own country. Hence the name Adland. Currently residing in Malmö, Sweden.

Claymore - joined adlist in 1998 and Adland soon after, he is the person who's timeconsuming research you can thank for the 35 year super bowl commercial collection, a.k.a "the Claymore project". By day he moonlights as a Creative Director for a midwest hot shop.

caffeinegoddess, a senior copywriter by day, ad news writer by night she hails from Boston, MA. She joined the site many moons ago and has since carved her own niche and fan group as she posts funny and informative pieces on current campaigns.

Robblink, New York copywriter with a very sticky brain for ad trivia. He roamed the adforums knowing every answer to everything when Dabitch dubbed him King of said forums and since then he consistently pairs up commercials that might be twins in Badland.

All the adgrunts, this place has always been proud of the contribution from members, which makes it what it is.
