ART DIRECTOR at TRIGGER - Los Angeles California

DESCRIPTION::

TRIGGER, a creative interactive agency focused on entertainment and youth brand marketing, is looking for an Art Director for a mid-level position with an opportunity to create high profile sites, online games and mobile applications for top entertainment clients in a fast-paced working environment. You *must* have at least 4 years working experience to be considered.

PERSON SHOULD BE::

* Self-motivated: Provide initial design direction, be able to build on the design and push it through production to completion.

* Creative: Don’t be afraid to provide unique input into the project.

* Team player: Work well with others… good communication, responsible and respectful of others. (No egos please!)

* Should be enthusiastic and immersed in movies, mobile technology, games, comic books, super heroes and other pop culture that fuel our clients and projects.

* Have at least 3 in the interactive space with a focus on UI, interactivity and motion design.

SPECIFIC SKILLS::

* Must manage workload and function on a milestone basis with a producer and creative director

* Must have an overall good sense of project/time management.

* Must be able to manage a small team of designers and/or production artists

* Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator with a working knowledge of Flash and Dreamweaver.

* Understanding and limitations of HTML, Actionscript 2.0, 3.0 XML, CSS, DHTML and major browsers.

* Experience with After Effects, 3D and Illustration a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES::

* Establishes visual tone and messaging that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives.

* The most senior ‘hands-on' creative for a design project

* Assists ACD in presenting work to client.

* Work with internal teams on development requirements such as timelines and resources.

* Communicate at the production level with the project manager, designers and production artists.

* Oversee freelance designers as necessary.

* Participates in (and may lead) brainstorms.

* Contributes to overall office morale, spirit, character and work quality.
