COPYWRITER
We have an opportunity for a Copywriter within the Copywriting Services practice at Studiocom. Your primary responsibility will be providing Content Strategies and Messaging Solutions for our Fortune 1000 clientele. You will work with clients and project teams to understand marketing & branding objectives and develop engaging, strategic messaging platforms and concepts that deliver positive equity and measurable business results. You are an accomplished, professional communicator and creative writer whose big ideas for integrated advertising, branding & marketing campaigns and interactive content have consistently challenged the status quo and successfully evolved the landscape of interactive experience. You actively demonstrate deep knowledge of the latest trends & techniques in integrated advertising, online marketing, content management and web usability.
Essential Functions
• Actively participate in the brainstorming of and help execute creative strategies into sound tactical concepts and approaches
• Collaborate with team to create engaging messaging strategies and content solutions
• Participated in the components of client engagements and new business pitches
• Keep current on the latest technology, interactive tools, industry trends and content management, usability & design methodologies
Experience
• Minimum 2 years copywriting experience with interactive and traditional advertising (direct mail)
• Experience writing content for web sites, online advertising campaigns, email marketing campaigns, branded entertainment and/or adver-gaming programs
Education
• Undergraduate degree required, with preference given to a major in Advertising, Writing, English, Journalism, or related field
Competencies
• Expert written and verbal communication skills with superior attention to detail
• Proven understanding of content management and usability principles & practices
• Excellent proofreading skills
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
SENIOR DESIGNER
Essential Functions

• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to self-manage projects and work within time deadlines
• Provide visual design critiques and direct positive change
Expert knowledge of and proficiency in most recent versions of:
• Macromedia Flash MX and Studio MX 7+
• Adobe Photoshop and The Adobe Creative Suite CS+
• Knowledge of HTML, DHTML, CSS, and other web design tools
• Knowledge of JavaScript and browser compatibility issues
• Must be proficient in Mac OSX
• Understanding of some basic programming is also a plus
Education
• Undergraduate degree required, with preference given to a major in Advertising, Writing, English, Journalism, or related field
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
We have an opportunity for a Creative Director within the Creative practice at Studiocom who will provide Conceptual Solutions, Strategy and Visual direction for a project. You will be responsible for communicating the vision to the client and to the internal design and technical teams.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Essential Functions
• Hire, direct, supervise and train designers, copywriters, video editors, production artists.
• Oversee and take full responsibility for creativity, quality of all projects.
• Maintain awareness of competition and keep up-to-date on innovations and new tools in the industry. Update organization on relevant findings.
• Contribute to content of sales proposals and sign-off approval prior to deal consummation.
• Client contact for high-level issues and decision as required.
• Serve as lead for large and complex projects
• Manage a group of exempt and nonexempt employees
• Contribute ideas and help resolve general business issues as a member of the executive team.
Experience
• Seven to nine years multi-media design experience with at least two years supervising and training designers.
• Thorough understanding of the digital design and production workflow for web/multimedia projects, online marketing and advertising.
• Understanding of video, print and audio processes and workflows a plus.
Education
• Professional degree in Design, Fine Arts, Writing
• Business training a plus
