Mayo DraftFCB/UTEC had a great idea for the University of Technology to show off with, create an dad that solves a problem through technology. Biggest problem in a desert city like Lima? Water. So here's a billboard that generates drinking water out of thin air!
The billboard works through reverse osmosis getting the water from the humid air, condensing and purifying the water, and filling it up in 20 liter tanks. In three months the billboard produced 9450 liters of water and served as a beacon of inspiration to the people around, showing a tangible way of how technology can help people.
