Have I told you once before? A layout is not an idea.

A layout can communicate an idea more or less effectivly - but never replace the idea. MmmKay?

Wanted - an Idea!
Thanx to ad-spotter Alvaro. :)

BBDO in London did this ad, depicting Gustav Klimt and Paul Cezanne.

A few months later...Edson FCB in Portugal with creative director Edson Athaide, made this ad.

It's a case of the same layout, yep. And thats not the same as stealing someones idea. However, when the layout is the idea................ I'm afraid I think both cases are pretty lame advertising. Nice design on the other hand!
